Supported Devices
Where Flixmaal plays, and what to do when it will not.
Browsers
Flixmaal runs in any current browser with HTML5 video — Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Samsung Internet and Brave, on desktop and mobile. There is no plugin, extension or app to install.
We support the current and previous major version of each. Older versions often work, but are not tested against.
Phones and tablets
The layout adapts down to phone width, and playback uses your device's native player controls — so AirPlay, Chromecast, picture-in-picture and the system volume behave exactly as they do elsewhere on your device.
Televisions
Smart TV browsers vary too much to promise support. Casting from a phone or laptop is the reliable route, and it uses the TV's own decoder rather than the browser's.
How video is delivered
Titles are served as progressive MP4 from the origin's CDN, not as an adaptive stream. In practice: playback starts quickly and seeks accurately, but there is no automatic quality ladder — the file you get is the file that exists.
If a title will not play
In order, because each step rules out a different cause:
- Try another episode. If that plays, the problem is the source file for that one episode, not your setup.
- Reload the page — a failed first request will not retry on its own.
- Disable ad-blocking or privacy extensions for this site; several block media requests to CDNs.
- Try a different browser. This separates a browser codec problem from a network one.
- If nothing plays anywhere, report it — that pattern usually means an outage rather than a device fault.
