These keep you signed in and hold your selected profile for the session. They cannot be turned off within the service, because without them there is no way to know who is watching.

• Session token — identifies your signed-in session. Expires when the session ends.
• Active profile — which profile is in use on this device.

Preferences (local storage)

Stored by your browser and never transmitted to us:

• Theme — whether you chose light or dark, so the choice survives a reload.
• My List — the titles you have saved on this device.

What we do not use

No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, and no cross-site analytics pixels. This is why you are not shown a consent banner: there is nothing to consent to beyond the strictly necessary.

Managing them

Your browser can block or clear cookies and site data at any time, usually under Privacy settings. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies signs you out and prevents sign-in. Clearing local storage empties My List and resets your theme.
