The ladder

Flixmaal uses India's self-regulation tiers, as applied by streaming services under the IT Rules: U, U/A 7+, U/A 13+, U/A 16+ and A.

• U — suitable for all ages.
• U/A 7+ — parental guidance for children under 7.
• U/A 13+ — parental guidance for viewers under 13.
• U/A 16+ — parental guidance for viewers under 16.
• A — restricted to adults, 18 and over.

Every title here is A

The whole catalogue is adult content. There is no mixed-rating browse to filter, which is why Flixmaal does not offer a maturity ceiling below A — it would hide everything rather than narrow anything.

Where the mark appears

On the tile, at rest. Not on hover, not after opening a title, and not only in the player. Maturity information that requires an interaction to discover is not doing its job.

When a rating cannot be read

Unknown or unparseable ratings resolve to A, the most restrictive tier — never to U. Failing restrictive costs a title an audience; failing permissive shows adult content to someone who set a limit. Only one of those is recoverable.

Advisories

Content descriptors — violence, language, sexual content, nudity, substance use — are shown beside the rating wherever the catalogue supplies them. The current source does not, so most titles carry the classification alone. When descriptors become available they appear on the title page beneath the rating.

Reporting a misclassification

If a title appears without its mark, or you believe the classification is wrong, report it. Classification defects are treated as bugs, not as feedback.
